• Komal Kumari Sharma , a student of Class VII has got the First Prize in a Drawing Competition organized by Creations Fuel , Dibrugarh .
• Anuranan Gogoi of Class VIII has been awarded the 3^rd (Team) Prize in the Inter District School Badminton Tournament ( under the age group of 14 years [boys] ) , organised by Office of the District Sports Officer , Tinsukia , under the aegis of the Directorate of Sports .
• On 25 th may 2010 , an art Competition was held at Dibrugarh Bengali High School on the occasion of Silver Jubilee Celebration of Chitrakutri . The following students of VKV Dibrugarh have been awarded :

Group C : 9^th Position : Dibakar Das (Class -V)

Group D : 2^nd Position : Komal Kumari Sharma ( Class -VII) and

4^th Position :Dikshya Hazarika (Class -VII)

Group E : 3^rd Position : Joydeep Das ( XI Science)

• Miss Adrita Bhuyan of Class VII has participated in the 5^th Hiren Baruah Memorial All Assam Ranking Table Tennis Tournament , 2010 , and has been awarded as the best promising player .

• On the occasion of 27^th Abhiruchi Sports Day , 2010 , Miss Adrita Bhuyan of Class -VII has secured the First position in the Table Tennis Competition .

• On 25^th September 2010 , Bharat Vikash Parishad has organised a group Song Competition in three categories – Assamese, Hindi and Sanskrit at RamKrishna Hall , Dibrugarh . The following students of Class -VII participated and the group achieved the 1^st prize in Sanskrit ,2^nd in Hindi and 3^rd in Assamese.
