The Independence Day was celebrated with dignity and fervour. The function started exactly at 8.00 a.m. with unfurling of the tricolor. Teachers and Students stood still and sang the National Anthem. Small kids were displaying tri colour hats and flags. Principal Madam addressed the students. A friendly Football match was held .Raksha Bandhan Day . The programme started at 9.30 a.m. with school prayer. Venue was the assembly hall. Mananeeya Rekha Didi and Su. Lalita Didi blessed the students on this occasion. Mananeeya Rekha Didi, Joint General Secretary and Jibanbrati Karyakarta, particularly engaged with the works in North-East region, addressed the students. Students presented speech and group song. Raksha Bandhan took place with the guidance of all teachers. After Kendra prayer groups of students, accompanied by teachers marched toward different place for tying of Rakhi and spreading the message of brotherhood and humanity.
Krishna Janmastami was celebrated with full enthusiasm. Group song, dance and speech marked the day. Chor Dhara and Pimpara Gusua, a composition of Sri Sri Madhavdev was performed. Class-X students displayed pyramid making and pot breaking . Teacher’s Day was celebrated in a unique way. Class XII students took classes from Class KG to IX. Students also conducted Morning Assembly and took care of discipline. The teachers observed and selected the best teachers for the day .Sri Sri Sankardev Tithi was celebrated. Satriya Dance and 'Krishna Avatar' – a Bhaona ,were the special performances.
Universal Brotherhood Day Dalimi Chaliha, Retired Lecturer of M.D.K. Kanoi College, Department of Philosophy addressed the students as the Chief Guest on the life of philosophy of Swami Vivekananda as well as S. Radhakrishnan and Gandhiji Group song, dance and speech marked the occasion. Class VIII student Manab Jalan echoed 1893's Swamiji's Chicago Address .
