TEACHERS  ORIENTATION  CAMP FOR THE SENIOR TEACHERS & ADMINISTRATIVE HEADS OF VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYAS OF ASSAM & NAGALAND

Vivekananda Kendra Shiksha Prasar Vibhag, the administrative body for the Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas, conducted Teachers Orientation Camps at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Dibrugarh,  from 1 August to 3 August, 2017 for the Senior Teachers who have put in a minimum of 12 years of Service in this set-up. Altogether 60 brothers & 46 sisters ( Total : 106 )  participated in the Camp. 

 Mananeeya Pravin Dabholkar., Joint General Secretary, Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, & Secretary, Vivekananda Kendra Shiksha Prasar Vibhag,  Guwahati, delivered a pre-inaugural speech  on “ Our role in Society as members of Vivekananada Kendra”.

The Ceremonial Lamp was lit by Sri Jiten Sharma, Academic Director, Axom Junior College, Margherita, and former Principal, Margherita College, Margherita, distinguished guest, along with Mananeeya Bhanudasji., General Secretary, Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari.   Smt. Laya Madduri, IAS, Deputy Commissioner of Dibrugarh District, was the Chief Guest, for the inaugural session for the Camp.

Mananeeya Bhanudasji took a session on ‘Bhagini Nivedita’s thoughts on Education’.  Dr. Pravat Kumar Dhal, Professor-In-Charge/Head/Dean Department of Education, Magadh University, Bodh Gaya, Bihar sessions were on ‘Art of Mentoring’, ‘Academics leadership role of Senior Teachers and of institutional heads’, ‘ Integral Education’, Active Learning Techniques.

Dr. Bibhas Chandra Das Purkayastha, ex-Principal, Pandu College, Guwahati, took a session on ‘Professional ethics in Teaching’, ‘Effective work culture in tune with Organizational Ideology’.

Su. Meera Kulkarni., Pranth Sanghatak., Assam Prant, Vivekananda Kendra, steered a Group Discussion., on the topic ‘Man making Class Room’ as delivered by Sri Vivek Ponkshe, Director, Jnana Prabhodini, Pune.  A film ‘Chalk n Duster’ was shown to the participants. A cultural show was put up by the  students of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Dibrugarh. The Valedictory Programme, amidst the whole-hearted participation of the participants in the presence of Kendra Adhikaris & Karyakartas. The Chief Guest for the Programme was Dr. Sristhidhar Dutta., Chairman, School Managing Committe, VKV., Dibrugarh.  The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Sri Ravindranath D. Savdeykar, Principal & Shibir Pramukh of the TOC.

Sri Hardik Mehta was the resource person in the workshop. He is a Jeevanvrati Karyakarta, Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari. Other dignitaries were Sri B. Kamalakant, RAO, VKSPV, Guwahati and Sri Digesh Nath of VKSPV present. Sri Ravindranath D. Savdeykar, the Principal of VKV Dibrugarh delivered the welcome speech as well the purpose and objective of the workshop .

Digital Board. There was a session for the importance of Health Card maintenance of Computer & other electronic equipment's as well as on Log Register to be maintained in Computer Labs. 



Video conferencing training was also given to the participants. The participants also shared their learning experiences during practice sessions. No of participants – 31. It was a successful workshop held at VKV Dibrugarh.

GANIT PRAGYAN PARIKSHA, 2016

Ganit Pragyan Pariksha, 2016 was organised by Vivekananda Kendra Shiksha Prasar Vibhag (VKSPV), Guwahati at 19 VKV's on 17th February, 2016 for Class VI students. Total no. of students registered were 848 where 793 students appeared. No. of  VKSPV rankers are 312.

This exam was conducted to see the analytical ability in Mathematics by the students. The full marks for the paper was 100. The marks distribution of the exam was Algebra 16 marks, Arithmetic 30 marks, Geometry 30 marks and Rational numbers 24 marks.

In top 15 rankers of VKV's, 5 students of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Dibrugarh scored positions. The students are Ankita Kumari (top 5), Robinson Pura (top 7), Nibir Nayan Mahanta (top 9), Anwesha Debnath(top 10) and  Ahana Bhadury (top 12).

Childrens Day (14th November, 2013)

Childrens Day was observed in the Vidyalaya with the help of  teachers for the students. There were dance performances, table recital, guiter recital by the students from class KG to Class X. The observation was very enthusiastic and well planned.

Independence Day ( 15th August, 2013) :




August 15, the 67th Anniversary was celebrated with great enthusiasm in our school. At 7:30 am, we all assembled in the school field and the flag was hoisted by our honourable Principal Ravindranath D Savdeykar, followed by National Anthem and Principal’s inspiring speech. Patriotic Song ” Rastra Bhakti Prerna Ka Gaan Vandemataram” was sung by our students. Then, the March Past  and thundering “ Band Display” (by our students) followed the programme. A large gathering of parents was there on the occasion. All teaching and non– teaching staff members were present. Prasad was distributed to everybody present.
