                                                             Career Counselling
A career counseling programme was conducted by IDIA, a charitable organization (Increasing Diversity by Increasing Access to Legal Education). The programme was taken over and presided by Pritam Dey, head of IDIA (headquarters at New Delhi). There were two more students from National Law University one from Guwahati (Sanjukta Gogoi) and the other from Raipur (Manash Mandal).

Pritam Dey spoke on the prospects of studying Law, recognized Law schools of country, and how law can culture leadership qualities. He also highlighted the objectives of his organization (IDIA) as how to help low income people in aiding and removing legal hassle in their life.

Interaction Programme


An interaction program was organized for the students of Class XI and XII on 7th September, 2015 in the school auditorium from 9:30 am onwards with Sri P.C.Parakh, former secretary Ministry of Coal, GOI.
The Principal of the school read out a brief school report on the different activities of Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari to have a glimpse of the work what Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade has laid down with a hope of mankind and nation building.
Dr. Shrithidhar Dutta, Chairman of VKV Dibrugarh, felicitated him with a fullam gamusa and a book on Eknathji. Sri Parakh spoke to the students with great enthusiasm and patience. After his address, a brief interaction programme was organized with the students where students asked questions on his life and his work.

Independence Day (15th August, 2015)



On the Independence Day, the students and parents gathered in the field around 7:30am. The prgramme started with Mangalacharan at 8am. The NCC cadets ascorted Vice Principal, Sri B.M.Naidu to the flag hoisting spot. The flag was hoisted by Vice Principal of the Vidyalaya, followed by National Anthem all together. Our Vice principal gave a speech which centred around the dedication of various freedom fighters in contribution to India’s Freedom. He also said how India has progressed in every sector. In the International level India today stands in a respectful position. He also said how students being in their own position can contribute to the country’s development. 
This was followed by a small cultural programme which included two patriotic song sung by students of class V and VIII and an action song by the students of Class IV was really mesmerizing. The programme ended with Shanti Mantra.

AISSE, 2015 Result


The results of AISSE, 2015 Examination held on 3rd May, 2015 have declared today the 28th May, 2015. 85 students appeared the examination from our Vidyalaya. 6 no. of students bagged away 10 CGPA, 17 students scored more than 9 CGPA and 22 students scored more than 8 CGPA. Unlike other years, this year too, the Vidyalaya exhibited cent percent successful results. The 10 CGPA holders are Aneesh Kashyap, Antara Sharma, Bidisha Baruah, Binay Sharma, Shikhari Baruah and Tanish Ghosh. The Principal of the Vidyalaya, Sri Ravindranath D. Savdeykar congratulated the students, the teaching staff for the success. We congratulate all of them and wish them a very prosperous life.

Students of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Dibrugarh has performed outstandingly in the Class XII CBSE Examination, 2015. In Science 30 students appeared where 93.2% as the highest percentage scored by Aprtim Bora this year. In Science, the highest mark in Physics is 96, English 95, Chemistry 98, Mathematics 95, Biology 95 and Computer Science 99 respectively. In Commerce 23 candidates appeared where the highest percentage is marked 94.6% bagged away by Manish Kumar Agarwalla. The highest mark in Accountancy is 95, Business Studies 95, Economics 95, English 95, Mathematics 81 and Informatics Practices 95 respectively. The Principal of the Vidyalaya, Sri Ravindranath D. Savdeykar has expressed great pleasure and satisfaction over the repeated good results of the school. He extended his gratitude to the whole teaching staff of the school, the students as well as the guardians for understanding sincere efforts to keep the honor of the prestigious school intact.

Monthly Talk Series -2015
An Intellectual Movement

A Monthly Talk Series to commemorate the yearlong celebration of Mananeeya Eknathji’s Janmasati Parva held at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Dibrugarh premises on 3rd May, 2015 from 4pm to 6pm. Ma. Nivedita Didi was the speaker of the august occasion. Her discussion and interactive session entered around the topic “Womanhood”. It was attended by a number of parents, well-wishers, teachers, students from various colleges and Kendra Karyakartas.

Abhibhavak Sammelan






Abhibhavak Sammelan



Abhibhavak Sammelan was organized on 18th March 2015 from 9:30a.m. to 1:30p.m. in Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Dibrugarh. The programme started with Mangalacharan. The welcome speech was delivered by the Principal of the Vidyalaya, Sri Ravindranath D. Savdeykar which included the significance of the programme, Kendra parichay and details of the activities undertaken by Vivekananda Kendra. The sammelan progressed with game, songs and group discussion. The summing up of the group discussion was done by Dr. Shovarani Sharma baideo. Her speech centered on how service to nation leaded to a purposeful life of a person and how we all can contribute to build an ideal society. The sammelan ended with shanti mantra. A total no. of 57 parents attended the sammelan.

Saraswati Puja
Saraswati Puja was celebrated in VKV, Dibrugarh on 24th January, 2015 in the school campus to pay allegiance to the Goddess of knowledge, learning, arts and culture. Devotees including students, well-wishers and parents in great numbers flocked to the school in their best attire. The Goddess of knowledge, Saraswati was revered among the students and learned following the rituals strictly to worship her. Puspanjali was also offered to the serene Goddess seated on a swan under the guidance of a Pujari. The devotees were enthralled by the continuous chanting of the hymns in the traditional way the Puja was conducted to augur enriching powers and faculties of the students in the field of creative arts, learning and science. Students, Teachers, Parents and Well Wishers about 2150 (approx) were present in the festivity to pay their respect to the patron of music, culture and learning. Khichdi delicacies  was served as Prasad among the devotees.
Vivekananda Jayanti

Vivekananda Jayanti was celebrated at Vkv dibrugarh on 12 January 2015. Sri RupankarGoswami, Manager Rajgarh Tea Estate was the chief guest. He said in his address that for building a strong  nation students need to take care of 3 important aspects. Time management, Service of mankind and care of environment. Time is same for all of us. Grate people could do so many things because of time management. Swamiji even in his short life of 39 years did tremendous work.   Our 
life becomes meaningful if we offer service  to    other needy people. This is the cream of Vedanta what swamiji has preached through out this teaching s. Third and most important thing is about climate change. Truly speaking climate has not changed we have changed. We need to be aware that  our activities should be causing least damage to 
the environment.
Sri Ravindranath Savdeykar, principal in the purpose of the meeting narrated the objectives of Vivekananda kendra. Coming together provides us an opportunity to tune ourselves once again with the nation building work. 
Other dignatories Dr. Sristidhardutta, rtd.dean Rajiv Gandhi university, Itanagar, Smt. SriparnaBagchi, Dr. VasantBarve,Dr. MinakshiBarve were also present in the meeting.
A cultural program was presented by the students of the vidyalaya. Satriyanritya, bharatnatyam, creative dance, dholwadan received the appreciation from the audience. Yoga demonstration was the best performance by the students.
To mark the day cycle rally was also organised by Vkv dibrugarh in the morning in the dibrugarh town. Total 300 students took part in it. 
Group of students from various vidyalaya joined in it.

 Sri B M Naidu, Vice principal offered vote of thanks. Audience of more 1000 enjoyed the colourful cultural program.
