National Youth Day
12th January,

The programme started at 2:30 pm by Mangalacharan and lightening of the Lamp.
The address of welcome was delivered by our Principal, Sri Ravindranath D.
Savdeykar which was followed by presentation of Vidyalaya report by Smt.
Hironmoyee Das, Primary In-Charge.
The Chief Guest of the programme was Dr.
Saumitra Pujari, Professor of History Department, J.B. College, Jorhat and Saha
Prant Pramukh of Vivekananda Kendra Assam Prant.
Different programmes were
organized on the theme of Swami Vivekananda, Bharat Mata and Bhagini Nivedita.
Gayan Bayan, Borgeet, Bharatnatyam, Sattriya were presented by the students.
Two Dramas were performed by the students, one was on the “Incidents from the
life of Swamiji” and the other one was on “Swaccha Bharat”, the two dramas were
the main attraction of the programme.
Vote of Thanks was delivered by Smt. Sudipta
Dam, Senior Teacher of our Vidyalaya. The programme concluded with Shanti
Mantra. Approx 900 students, parents and well wishers witnessed the programme.
