An
Awareness Programme on Eye Care for
the students of Class X was organized by Rotary Club, Dibrugarh on 21st
December, 2017 in our Vidyalaya. Speaker Dr. Indira Neog, Eye Specialist, Assam
Medical College, Dibrugarh interacted with the students. She discussed the
Basic Anatomy of the Human eye, 15 tips to take care of the eye, common
problems related to Eye – Cornea and Lens, Cataract, Myopia, Hypermetropia and
Presbiopia, maintenance of health and hygiene of the eye etc. The interaction
was very informative for the students. The programme ended with Shanti Mantra.
