ATAL TINKERING LAB WORKSHOP

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Dibrugarh organized a 3 days Atal Tinkering Lab Workshop from 31st July to 2nd August 2022. The workshop was conducted on the topics Atal Tinkering Lab Workshop Origami, Machines and Electronics. There were a total of 25 participants from classes VI, VII and VIII in the workshop.

On the very 1st day, students were introduced to the concept of tinkering and how they will get a workplace to execute their ideas.  This was followed by a Origami session by Sumit sir where they got an idea about designing. The last session was conducted by Anamika didi about Mechanics where the students were supplied some mechanical kits to create some innovative objects and as such they made F1 car, Heli Car and electric sweeper etc.

The 2nd day started with electronics. The session was conducted by Deep sir. Students were given the concepts of Voltage, Current and the several component used in a electric circuit. They then prepared a simple electric circuit a bread board followed by a complex circuit (touch door bell).

    The third day concluded with the Valedictory programme. Dr. Gouree Shankar das, Assistant Professor of the Department of Physics, Dibrugarh University was the Chief Guest. He motivated the student with his enlightening speech and then visited the ATL where an exhibition was organized by the student.

    The three days workshop was a very good learning experience for the students and it mo tivated them to work in the ATL in the future.
