Padmasree Jadav Payeng’s visits
Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Dibrugarh

Padmasree Jadav Payeng, better known as the “FOREST
MAN” of India visited our Vidyalaya on 30th April, 2016 (Saturday)
at about 2:30 pm. It was an initiative by “AUXESIS” of Dibrugarh University who
is heading the environment movement with Sri Jadav Payeng in their effort of
“EACH ONE, PLANT ONE.”
Sri Jadav Payeng addressed the Vidyalaya student in the
afternoon assembly, inspiring them with his motto and mission of life, i.e. to
plant trees and removes the hazards of industrialization. He also planted a
sapling in the Vidyalaya playground with the students. He was also accompanied
by a dignitary of the Dibrugarh University, Sri Madan Dutta, other faculties
and few students of the University.
Sharing his happiness in visit to the Vidyalaya, nature lover
and conservationist, Payeng said that the students are the future of our
country and can play a vital role to save Mother Nature and Mother Earth.
