Measles and Rubella Vaccination Campaign

Measles and Rubella Vaccination Campaign was organised
by Health and Family Welfare Development, Govt. Of Assam, in VKV Dibrugarh on
27th August, 2018 under the guidance of ANM, Dipali Neog , Dibrugarh
region. The Vidyalaya provided the required infrastructure for the camp and
arranged for spacious vaccination room. A total number of 521 students’ up to
the age of 15 years right from Class KG to IX benefited from the camp. The
students were vaccinated with the consent of their parents in the presence of
their respective class teacher and were kept under observation for a short
period of time. The aim of the Measles and Rubella camp drive is to eliminate
measles and control Congenital Rubella Syndrome in the country by the year
2020.
