Children Day

CHILDREN DAY REPORT - 2022

November 14 is celebrated as Children’s Day or Bal Diwas every year in India. The special day is celebrated in remembrance of India’s first Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru.

A day marking childhood, and to make this event a memorable one for our students, our Vidyalaya organised a small programme on this day.

The day focused on children and their enjoyment. The day commemorated with immense joy, enthusiasm and magnificence.

The celebrations began with the Morning Prayer, led by teachers of the Vidyalaya followed by a small cultural event including dance, group song, instrumental, and drama by the teachers.

There was prize distribution for winning primary students who participated in various competitions held during the session for Azaadi ka Amrit Mohotsav. A variety of fun filled activities and games, Tug of War, Volley ball planned by the teachers for their children in which teachers played opposite students. The teachers made Children’s Day special for their children by involving them in various games.  All the children were distributed kheer during lunch break. The students were overwhelmed and enjoyed the day.

Our student’s from class VI to XII participated in an essay writing competition organised by VKSPV (Sister Nivedita Nibandhan Lekhan Spardha).

Students from class I, II and III enjoyed kid’s moral stories in the big screen together in the Sanskriti Sabhagriha.
