Raksha Bandhan
Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (VKV) Dibrugarh celebrated Raksha Bandhan today with great zeal and enthusiasm. Students from classes IV to XII participated by creating handmade rakhis using decorative threads, stars, mirrors, pearls, and flowers. These rakhis were later tied by the students to their peers while chanting the ‘Raksha Sutra Mantra.’
The school highlighted that such celebrations are important for teaching students about Indian traditions. The teachers at the school spoke to the students about the significance of Raksha Bandhan, and explained why it is celebrated with such fervour every year.
The principal of VKV Dibrugarh acknowledged the students’ efforts and praised their enthusiasm for the event. The event at the school concluded with the distribution of sweets.
Following the in-school celebrations, groups of teachers and students visited in DC Office , Banks, Sadar Thana , Some Colleges , Some Hospital , NCC Office , RK Mission , Iscom , Arunchal Pradesh Trust etc.
