VKV Dibrugarh celebrates National Youth Day through an extension programme conducted at VKV Dibrugarh, Marwaripatty, Marwari Arogya Bhawan, Govt Boys' HS School, Gyan Vigyan Academy, Jeuti Morol Sangha Chiring Chapori, Shree Agrasen Academy, Disharee Club, Thakurbari Lahowal, Arunuday Sangha, Victoria Girl's HS School, Model School Dibrugarh University, Jagannath Mandir, and Jokai.

National Youth Day is observed every year on 12 January to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, whose life and teachings continue to inspire the youth of India to build character, strength, self-confidence, and a spirit of service to the nation.

The programmes at different places began with Pushpanjali, followed by Omkaras and Mangalacharan. This was followed by the Vivekananda Kendra Parichay and an address highlighting the importance of the day. Students then presented a chorus rendition of “Hey Vivekananda Swami”, after which a group of students enacted a skit depicting significant incidents from Swamiji’s life. Nearly 150 teachers and students jointly organised these events across various locations, reaching a total audience of about 1,500. The programmes concluded peacefully with the Shanti Mantra.
