Republic Day celebration

Our vidyalaya celebrated 74th Republic Day with great eclat. The vidyalaya was tastefully decorated with flowerpots, paper decorations and balloons. Loudspeakers were fitted. Everyone was feeling very patriotic and happy because it was a matter of great pride for all of us. After all, on this day the constitution of India came into force and our country became a republic.

The school band escorted principal sir and senior teachers to the ground where Principal, Shri Ravindranath D. Savdeykar unfurled the National flag.

Students, parents, guests and teachers saluted the National flag, sang the National Anthem and pledged to up hold the honour and integrity.

Principal sir spoke on the significance of the day  and urged them to do their best and feel proud to be Indian. He also urged each one of us to be conscious citizens and take care of our surroundings in order to make our country clean and green and also make judicial use of available resources.

We also remembered our founder principal, Shri KK Narayan today on his 11th punya tithi and his contributions with Shri Eknathji in opening up several vidyalaya in Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.

The students brought the stage alive with their passion and love of the motherland through their dance and song performances. The school campus reverberated with patriotic fervour  and enthusiasm by our school choir song.

The students dispersed after snacks with the image of the fluttering tricolor in their mind and heart. May we continue celebrating this day forever!
